I've had other priorities the last couple months, and haven't even been getting my 20 Bird MDR :-(
So I've been bird anemic lately, and am just now getting back into more healthy birding habits. Yesterday I got my 20 Bird MDR in half an hour at Spruce Run (but there is high water, so no good shorebirding this year) and this morning I got it in the yard, where a flyover Double-crested Cormorant was the best yard bird.
Southbound shorebirds should be on the move, and land birds are moving around...so time to get the nocturnal microphone back out and listening for the good stuff going over each evening.
