This Saturday we're celebrating
50 years of birding at Hornsby Bend, an Austin wastewater facility that is the best birding spot in all of Central Texas. We'll start the morning with our monthly bird survey (which we started more than 10 years ago and is still going strong), followed by a lunch and afternoon programs on the birds, and capped off with an evening program celebrating decade by decade the history of birds and birding at the facility. If you've ever birded Hornsby Bend, or just want to hear what it was like to be a birder 50 years ago, come down to Austin and join in the fun!

Wish we could join! Waste water plants are bird heavens!
Just saw an old post of free bird seed if a count is taken every other day. I teach 8th grade science and we are developing 2 acres for ahandicap trail / outdoor classroom and are planning on aiding the habitat for both flora and fauna. Is the offer still available or can you guide me to a good supplier.
Thanks
