Looks like my days as a Pennsylvania birder may be coming to a close. Since my wife has taken a new position in New Jersey, we've been house hunting and getting ready to sell our place here in suburban Philadelphia. Looks like our new home will be somewhere in The Garden State. We have an offer pending on a home on over 2 wooded acres that will offer a different set of yard birds from our current row home. For now, we're dealing with appraisals, home inspections, repairs, and all that other good stuff that comes with uprooting your life, but hope to be back birding and posting regularly soon.
Meanwhile, I've been enjoying the Chimney Swifts soaring over my house here, as well as the mockingbirds and other local nesters in my yard. Need.more.birds!

Good luck with the move!
What a shame that you will be all the closer to Cape May. Best wishes for the move!
Cool! Where in NJ? We'll be in southern Passaic Co.
