Day 4: 1000 Species Challenge

Rose Hooktip Moth
I had to drive up to East Stroudsburg to teach this morning, so not a lot of new species.  But did get a couple cool moths at my patio, and a groundhog on the side of the road (alive).  Best bird of the day was a migrant Baltimore Oriole in my yard while I was waiting to put the kids on the school bus.  Driving along I also spotted a sunflower in a yard, and some domestic goats.  Gotta get those 1000 species any way I can!

Total Monthly Species Tally: 152
(See complete running tally here)

Baltimore Oriole Icterus galbula
Black-and-white Warbler Mniotilta varia
Brown-headed Cowbird Molothrus ater
