Thanksgiving morning we were busy getting ready to have company over, so we had to postpone our
annual Wild Turkey search until Friday.
Last year we dipped on
Wild Turkeys near Lexington, Virginia, but this year, with some local knowledge, we did much better, finally coming across fourteen
Wild Turkeys foraging in the woods off 3 Mile Run near Lake Nockamixon. We also found a Gray Fox out in another field. The three kids all got good looks, so it was another satisfying Turkey Day. (photo:
